Resident Evil Ø : Enemies
ZOMBIES

Your typical zombie comes in an all familiar fashion if your used to "Romero Zombies" as these guys are based upon. Rotting members of the location your in; covered in tattered clothing, blood smeared, and perhaps missing body parts. They relive to eat your live warm flesh and other bodily parts. Simply put, Resident Evil wouldn't be Resident Evil without these un-dead foes.

CERBERUS

The "Cerberus" is Umbrella's term for dogs used as test subjects for T-virus research, or those accidently infected by one of the various accidental outbreaks. Cerberus dogs are the main spreaders of the disease outside of the contaminated Umbrella facilities. A rotting zombie dog which wants more than the postman's leg.

TYPE-Y139

Also known as B.O.W. Type-Y139, this overgrown scorpion is the result of yet another Umbrella experiment with the T-virus. You will encounter this creature early in the game in the train area where it will break into the train to fight your character.

LEECHES

A leech that has been cultivated using the T-virus. These leeches will consume human flesh, and can lay hundreds of eggs and spawn a whole new breed. They seem to act as a "single entity", sometimes banding together to form into a humanoid creature.

LEECH MEN

A massive quantity of T-virus-infected leeches that conglomerate together to form a human-like creature. In this form they are very dangerous, and can attack to cause high damage in a short amount of time. Its arms and limbs can extend to strike at targets quite some distance away, and if it can manage to grab a hold of you it will soak you with an acidic secretion.

PLAGUE CRAWLERS

Failed insect B.O.Ws that have escaped the labs and are now roaming the grounds of the training facility. They are not especially dangerous unless in large numbers. It is best to deal with them as soon as possible.

CROWS

Always found in a small flock, these birds can cause a lot of damage in a little amount of time. They seek to overhwhelm their prey by attacking in their large numbers, and peck them to death. A flock of crows were responsible for the death of S.T.A.R.S. member Forrest Speyer in Resident Evil 1.

CENTURION

This giant insect will attack both main characters in the Umbrella Research Center. When it arrives, Rebecca will be picked up by the Centipede and Billy will be left to fight it. It'll move slowly around the area you are in, and as long as you don't get directly infront of it, shouldn't cause you any damage.

WEBSPINNER

A tarantula spider that has been infected with the T-virus, causing them to grow to several times their normal size. Crawling along walls and ceilings, Giant Spiders (sometimes referred to as "Web Spinners") will show up in various locations. They have the ability to poison by spitting a secretion at their targets. The blue herb will usually cure the poison.

ELIMINATORS

Eliminators are baboon test-subjects for the B.O.W. experiments. Because of its abnormal muscular development, the skin of the former ape is literally tearing apart from its body. Elminators are very athletic and attack very quickly, often attacking in groups to overpower their prey.

HUNTERS

You know they had to pop in for a second or two. Aggressive reptilian weapons armed with large talons. When encountering Hunters, it is kill or be killed, so let that ammo fly.Stay in between long range and short range from the creatures to avoid suffering their damaging jump attack.

GIANT BAT

Your standard winged rodent, but infected with the T-virus. They are similar to the crows in the way they attack: usually in groups of 4-6 at a time. You will find them in various areas of the game, and they can be dispensed easily with the handgun.

PROTO TYRANT (T-001)

This disformed and twitchy Tyrant is the first attempt by Birkin and his team to create the Ultimate Biological Weapon - the Tyrant that existed before the 002 in Resident Evil. It's very unstable but still as strong as it's younger brother in the Remake.

LURKER

A frog that has grown to enormous size as a result of being injected with the T-virus. It mainly inhabits the watery areas of the Treatment Plant in Resident Evil Ø, so you wont encounter it until late in the game. It uses its long tongue to capture its victim, pull them to the ground, and then go in for the attack.

QUEEN LEECH

The head honcho. The grand finale. The author of being a cheap ass boss. If it isn't grabbing you and biting you multiple times, it is definitely jumping on top of you or spitting acid. Pull out your heavy artillery and give it space to move.
